Caster, a wall mounted print that plays with light and shadow.
This piece is composed of two distinct layers: a transparent gray acrylic panel that creates the illusion of a perfect, sharp shadow, and a matte printed acrylic panel. The transparent layer is designed to seamlessly blend with any wall, casting a "shadow" that is always perfectly matched to its background, no matter the color or texture.
This print was created using UV printing directly onto a 3mm acrylic (Plexiglass) board, which was then precisely laser-cut to shape.
The two layers are hung together using a shared, simple system composed of 3 spacers . The shadow panel sits flush against the wall, while the printed layer is positioned 3 cm in front of it, creating a sense of depth that makes the artwork appear to float.
Once mounted the total dimensions are a little shy of 90×50 cm / 35×20 inches
This product is a timed-exclusive and will be available for preorder only until Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 9 PM CET. After this deadline, this piece will be permanently retired and never offered again.
The size of the edition will be determined once the availabilty time expires. The prints will be then numbred and signed and will come with a certificate.
